HGV fleet maintenance software. Every part, and who it is for.
Transport managers, fitters, drivers, the office and the directors all use HGVault for different things, whether the yard runs artics, rigids, a few vans or all three. Start with the part that is yours.

Compliance
The questions a DVSA examiner asks, put to your own records before anyone else does. This is the part the transport manager opens first thing.
Workshop
Inspections, tyres and wheels on a tablet in the bay, with trailers treated as vehicles in their own right. The sheet is checked before it can be signed.
Drivers
The walkaround on the driver’s own phone, and the record that says whether that driver can legally take that lorry today.
Office and costs
The licence, the dates, the planner and the money. What is due, what is off the road and what each vehicle costs to keep running.
Who uses what
Same record, different screens. Each login sees what that job needs and nothing more.
Transport managers
Your name is on the licence, so the day starts with what an examiner would find. Start with the self-check, then OCRS and prohibitions.
Fitters and the workshop
The week’s PMI list, a unit over the pit and a tablet on the bench. See safety inspections, trailers and tyres and wheels.
Drivers
Scan the tag, work down the list, report what is wrong there and then. No app and no signal needed. See walkaround checks.
The office
New vehicles, discs, dates coming due, driver licences and supplier invoices. See the fleet office and drivers and licence checks.
Owners and directors
Is the fleet safe, is the licence safe, and which vehicles pay their way? See costs, parts and fuel and the monthly board report.
Contractors and outside garages
If a contractor does your PMIs, their reports are recorded against your vehicles and checked for gaps, or sent in on a private upload link. See safety inspections.
See it on a working sample fleet.
Severn Vale Haulage is a made-up haulier with tractor units, rigids, a van and four trailers, and months of records behind them. Look round it yourself, read only, with nothing to install. A guided tour takes you through each part.
